Fes - Midelt - Arfoud - Merzouga Desert
We will pick up you from your hotel/riad/ bus station then we will start our journey from Fes to Midelt and Merzouga desert. We pass through Ifrane, a winter ski resort, we visit the cedars forest in Azrou where you will see the monkeys. We drive across the Middle Atlas mountains towards the Sahara desert passing Erfoud and Rissani. We reach Merzouga in the afternoon, we prepare for a camel ride and we spend the night in desert camp in desert tents.
Merzouga Desert - Dades Gorges
Our camel guide will wake you up to watch the sunrise in the Merzouga desert and after that, we ride camels back to the village. After showering and breakfast in the riad, we’ll head to Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra Gorges which is the highest, narrowest gorge in Morocco. We may hike within the valley, and then we continue to the Dades Valley. Here we’ll enjoy sand castles and also the rock formations called "monkey toes" and we stay in Dades Gorges in a local hotel with dinner and breakfast.
Dades Gorges - Ait Benhaddou - Marrakech
We continue our Morocco tour towards Ouarzazate passing the way of the thousand Kasbahs. We will stop at Kalaat Mgouna, then we drive to Ouarzazate and Ait Ben Haddou, where the local kasbah has been built by Et Hami El Glaoui in the 19th century. We cross Tizi n'Tichka mountain Pass at 2260m over the High Atlas mountains before we reach Marrakech.
